Summary
Job OverviewWorking a rotating early and late shift in a production environment servicing, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults on fork lift trucks.
Main Duties
-Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing & repair of Diesel, Gas & Electric FLT's. The candidate must have fault-finding diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic systems and provide effective solutions.
-Replacement of faulty parts and repairs, ensuring excellent workmanship whilst responding promptly to breakdowns, troubleshoot quickly & efficiently to minimize downtime is essential.
What we are looking for
-We are looking for someone who works well within a team and singly whilst being able to use their own initiative to ensure efficient workflow & documentation. The successful candidate must be able to work to the processes and procedures of the company. The client has a large Fleet of electric FLT's, therefore electrical skills a must. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3, or with a proven background within the forklift industry.
-We require someone with a methodical & well-organized approach to tasks whilst adhering to safety standards and have excellent reporting and customer facing skills. A skilled & experienced Forklift Engineer, ideally with Jungheinrich & Linde experience would be preferable. Current FLT Licence advantageous but training can be provided.
