Summary
Job Summary
We are looking to recruit a number of auto electricians to carry out vehicle electrical installation work on a wide range of new hgv based fire and rescue vehicles
Job Responsibilities
Installation of low voltage (12/24v system)including control boards, fuse boxes and harnesses.
Installation of aftermarket equipment including CCTV systems, tyre pressure monitoring ands VDS systems.
Installation of fire service specialist equipment including light bar LED lamps, siren systems and pump control
Candidate must be competent with the use of hand tool including soldering and crimping
Job requirements
Previous experience in an similar environment would be an advantage but not essential.
A working knowledge of CAN is desirable
Ability to read and follow wiring schematics is essential
Ideally hold a relevant qualification e.g City & Guilds, NVQ
Self Motivated
Be able to work as part of a team or independently as required
Although it is envisaged to initially to be a day shift role, this is a shift working contract

week 1 = Monday to Thursday Days, 06.00 to 15.00 and Friday 06.00 to 12.30
