Summary
We are working with a well-established Maintenance Contractor with a great reputation who operate nationally, working across the Social Housing, Commercial and Public sectors.
The company are working on an established and longstanding contract within the Education sector and are seeking a site based Maintenance Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis to join their team in Manchester.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for small works within the Education setting, with typical jobs valued between £5-10k. The refurbishments will consist of externals and internals and will involve brickwork, groundwork, upgrades to gutters, painting, door replacements and general repairs.
The duties of Maintenance Supervisor will include:
- Requisition of materials
- Managing subcontractors
- Issuing sub-contractor short term programmes
- Holding regular progress meetings
- Updating the construction programme
- Managing trades/labour on site
- Checking the quality of all plant on site
- Managing H&S on site
- Attending monthly cost meetings
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career background, and have experience working as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, ideally within the Public Sector.
Ideally, you will come from a trade background.
The salary on offer is up to £36k + package, depending on your experience.
