Summary
To support the delivery of strategic planning, commissioning and enabling for all aspects of Strategic Housing. This will include the Housing Strategy, Homelessness Strategy, Growth Plans, Sub-Regional Plans, Private Sector Housing Policy and Strategy, Tenancy Strategy and Allocations Policy.
Housing Policy Officer – Grade 9 - Fixed-Term role till 31 March 2027
An opportunity has arisen for a Policy Officer to be employed on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027 on a homeworker basis with a requirement to attend meetings across the borough as required.
Working closely with the strategic lead for Council Housing you will lead on tenant engagement and work closely with the new Council Housing Management Board as well as help to ensure the Council is prepared for the social housing regulation inspection framework.
