About the role

Kingspan Water and Energy is a world class rotational moulding company. The role of Production Operative is based at our factory in Williton involving the direct manufacturing of Kingspan’s product range of diesel dispensers, oil, water and storage tanks. The position is multi-functional and requires a person who can follow procedures and maintain high quality standards.

Duties:

- Manufacture parts for diesel dispensers, oil, water and storage tanks and any new products or variations which may be introduced, to the standards defined within the specification and the company quality system.
- Product assembly of the full range of products, which includes the following duties: following specification sheets, loading and unloading of ovens, component assembly to finished goods, cutting, drilling, flaming, sub assembly of steel fabrications, etc.
- Maintain high quality standards in accordance with all relevant standards.
- Maintenance of equipment and work area.
- Operate and monitor machinery to produce high-quality products
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and resolve any issues
- Fabricate components using mechanical knowledge and logic controllers
- Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Use hand tools proficiently for various tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Practical knowledge of assembly techniques consistent with the company product range
- Experience in working with rotational moulding an advantage
- Competent in materials handling techniques
- Skilled in using a variety of hand tools efficiently
- The ability to accurately measure and document production activities
- Previous forklift training (desirable)
