Summary

TQB Interiors in Wetherby are recruiting for an Apprentice Furniture Sprayer/Painter. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Furniture Occupations which will take approximately 24 months to complete.

Duties:
- Clocking in
- Liaising with the workshop manager and other members of staff to ensure duties are carried out in order.
- Spraying/painting various components of kitchens, bedrooms, studies, media walls and all other aspects of furniture.
- Sanding/prepping all components between coats.
- Using a wide variety of paints, stains and lacquers.
- Keeping check of stock items and informing of items required to order.
- General care taking duties.
- Clocking out

Requirements:
- We are based in the countryside between Knaresborough and Wetherby so a driving license would be an advantage.
- Age between 16 -40
- Must be punctual.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have an interest in bespoke furniture and interiors.
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Be forward thinking
- A commitment to their own development and career

Grades:
There are no formal qualifications required.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5pm. Friday, 7am - 1pm. Unpaid break 45 minutes per day. Week 1 - 43hrs Friday PM off. Week 2 - 37hrs Friday off.
