Summary
SEN Teaching Assistant Location:
Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS17
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Education and Training
£85 - £100 Per day
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN children
- Providing one-to-one support and guidance to SEN pupils as required
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of SEN children and reporting back to the teacher
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of different types of SEN and appropriate support strategies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in specific areas of SEN support
- Working in a school environment
- Full-Time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
