£28,253 – £28,456 pro rata / £15.47 - £15.59 per hour (including Shift Allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

The working hours for this post will be on a 3-week rota, working between two and four days each week, including at least one Saturday per 3 week period.

We require a Centre Assistant to join our enthusiastic, committed team within the Kirkwall Community Centre, helping to maintain our excellent standards of quality and hygiene. Your main duties will include washing dishes, stock control, cleaning the kitchen areas, helping to prepare sandwiches and setting up and clearing down of function and meeting rooms.

Applicants should have experience of dealing with the public and a qualification in elementary food hygiene, while not essential, would be preferred.
