Summary
We are recruiting for Cemetery Maintenance Operatives in the south of Birmingham.
Must have full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle to travel between sites.
Flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm but usual working hours are 8.30 - 4.30 Monday - Friday with working one in six weekends.
Duties
Emptying refuse and dog waste bins, transferring collections to the bulk collection facility by vehicle.
Removing and disposing of floral displays ad memorials where appropriate and little picking across multiple sites.
Clearing and Maintaining paths and other hard areas, undertaking winter duties when required.
Identifiying and carrying out ground levelling and seeding/turfing.
Carrying out the full range of duties specified by Team Leaders.
Unlocking and locking of cemetery and crematoria sites in accordance with the seasonal opening hours including weekends.
Completing general repairs and maintenance tasks commensurate with the grade
Maintaining all necessary records, ensuring that they are complete and accurate e.g worksheets, timesheets, and vehcile check list where appropraite
Identifying, logging and reporting / addressing safety hazards and other issues that affect the appearance of the site.
