Summary
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector client for a Plumber to work within a Hospital in the Caerphilly area.
As well as general plumbing duties will include:
* Replacing existing copper pipe work with new,
* Removing flexi hoses under sinks and replace with solid pipe work,
* Adjusting and replacing thermostatic mixing valves on sinks/basins and showers.
* Basic water management knowledge (water temperatures to combat Legionnaires' disease etc…)
* Checking water temperatures and fault finding any issues found
* Removing any dead legs or little used pipe work
* Completing time sheets / job paper work
* Able to work around other NHS staff and general public
Ideal candidate will have:
* NVQ2 or higher
* Asbestos awareness certificate
* CSCS skill card
A Standard DBS is required for this role (Acorn will assist with this)
Pay rate:
* £17.69 per hour
* Monday to Friday 0800 - 1600 - 37.5 hours per week.
* Possibility of overtime
