Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic receptionist to join our friendly and busy team of health professionals in the Endoscopy Unit at Croydon University Hospital.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the department and will be expected to provide comprehensive administrative/clerical and reception services. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and to prioritise/organise their own workload.

The right candidate will be sympathetic and sensitive to the requirements of staff, patients and other service users, whether communicating by telephone or face-to-face, including dealing with difficult or demanding situations.

In return, we offer structured training in a supportive environment.

Post holder will be expected to commit to shift patterns which ensure the needs of the service are met. There may be shift 'flex' although the position requires this candidate to work from 10:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday,
