Job Summary:
The PMLD Teaching Assistant supports the teaching and learning activities of students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This role involves working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the students are met, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities and lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them engage in classroom activities and achieve learning objectives.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt resources to meet the specific needs of each student.

Moving and Handling Training

Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the educational and personal development of students with PMLD.
