Summary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism? We are seeking a dedicated Autism Secondary Teaching Assistant to work with secondary-aged students in Barnet. Your primary role will involve working in groups and one-on-one with children with low to high-functioning autism, focusing on developing their communication skills, supporting their progression, and fostering independence through sensory play and specialised curricula.
- Aspirants: Aspiring Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists (SALTs), Counsellors, and Social Workers.
- Passion: A genuine passion for working with children with autism.
- Experience: Ideally, previous experience supporting children with autism in any setting-personal, educational, or care.
- Personality: A personable and caring nature.
- Professional Development: Ongoing professional development as an Autism Secondary Teaching Assistant.
