Summary
Here at Principal Resourcing, we are recruiting for x2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join one of our wonderful Primary Schools based in Wakefield, WF2. The full-time roles are expected to commence September 2024 and may become permanent for the right applicants.
The friendly School caters for children aged 3-11 within a caring and supportive learning environment, aiming to improve the quality of educational provision and enable each child to reach their full potential. You will become part of a thriving staff team, supporting pupils to build their knowledge, establish strong friendships and gain confidence in their abilities.
The ideal applicant will good knowledge and experience of developing SEN children's physical skills and be able to relate well to young children, families and the staff team. Some experience of ICT systems for progress monitoring and first aid are desirable, although not essential. You will be passionate, caring and attentive SEN Teaching Assistant that ensures pupils with additional needs feel valued, respected and involved within the mainstream classroom.
We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day depending on experience.
We are seeking Teaching Assistants with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupils.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
