Role Overview:
The Assistant Design Manager will support the Design Manager in all stages of the design process, from initial concept through to project completion. This role involves collaborating with various teams, managing project schedules, and contributing to effective design decision-making.
Your day to day will look like:
- You will work with the Senior / Design Manager to produce and manage the design programme
- You will provide guidance to the Project team on any design related issues
- Assist with resolving any design related queries with the design team
- Assist in the production of the Proposals
- Review design deliverables, which will include supplier elements and interfaces to ensure they are within budget are fully coordinated
They're looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as the Assistant Design Manager
- Social housing background (preferred)
- Good knowledge of building methods and technologies
- Good understanding of procurement and risk management
