Summary
Your role will involve: Undertaking medical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in hospice/ /community settings Holding your own caseload of complex patients and providing joint assessments and advice to multi-professional team. Initiating appropriate medical care and prescribe appropriately in line with Hospice policies and guidelines Working alongside other professionals with families in the prevention of bereavement morbidity. Attending Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and case reviews. Engaging in clinical governance and quality improvement meetings and activities To be considered, you will need to have the following: Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practice required MBBS or equivalent medical qualification Minimum 4 years full-time at ST1- 2 Grade (at least 2 years experience in Palliative or End of Life Care) Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners or Physicians Demonstrates breadth of experience & awareness in clinical practice Experience and understanding of Quality Improvement methodology and audit in clinical governance Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively, verbally and in writing with patients, families & colleagues Ability and experience to teach Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for more details and information on the role.
