Summary
Kenect Recruitment are hiring for our client in Aston, Birmingham for a Sewing Machine Operator
Working in a face pace warehouse environment for a company that specialise in the making of rugs.
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
Salary: £11.50
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper calibration
- Fabricate products by adjusting machine settings and performing quality checks
- Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of machine operation and basic troubleshooting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
