Step Teachers are working with a school in Plymouth that cherishes and nurtures every child, recognizing their unique, individual interests, talents, and strengths, which make their school a happy and exciting place to learn and work, And are looking to find an Administrator to join their team immediately for a part-time role which might potentially be extended to September 2024.
Administrator Role:
- Deliver an efficient and responsive service. This includes answering queries, dealing with complaints, and providing referrals in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Always maintain a positive and professional image.
- Undertake various administrative tasks including filing photocopying, and managing school supplies to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Uphold Academy policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
- Be a team player, supporting colleagues during busy periods and providing cover when needed.
- Administrator must cover the reception desk, answer the phone and also mark and update the register
Administrator Requirements:
- Ability to work systematically with attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Solves routine, or basic problems (escalating more complex problems as appropriate)
- Administrator must be able to work without supervision, prioritize workloads and work to deadlines.
- Finds the right balance between the need for thoroughness against the urgency of response.
- Basic IT skills are essential.
- Manages routine day-to-day and week-to-week tasks effectively.
