Summary

Mercer Exhibitions Ltd in Blackburn are recruiting for an Exhibition Stand Installer. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Furniture Occupations which will take approximately 24 months to complete.

Duties:
- Assist in the construction and assembly of exhibition stands, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and plans to accurately build components of the stands.
- Support the installation and dismantling of exhibition stands at various venues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions and hands-on workshops to develop your skills and knowledge in stand building techniques.
- Travel to different locations as required by exhibition schedules, accommodating varying work hours including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence is desirable
- Exhibition or shop fitting background with an ability to demonstrate both bench and site joinery
- Own vehicle
- Able to work away - both around the UK and overseas
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure

Grades:
There are no formal qualifications required.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 30 mins paid lunch and 15 min break. 40 hours per week
