If you’re brimming with enthusiasm for raising awareness about amphibians and their habitats, we want you!

Join Our Team as our Ectotherm Collection Supervisor at WWT Slimbridge!

At WWT Slimbridge, we’re proud to host the largest collection within our charity’s network, where we lead the way, bring life and inspire connection. We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity to lead our esteemed ectotherm collection at ‘Toad Hall’, a visitor favourite and a sanctuary for a diverse array of amphibians and fish, with flexible scope in the future to explore other ectotherm taxa. Currently we have a remarkable variety of Caudata species, a significant temperate collection, and extraordinary species like the Lake Titicaca frogs.

As the lead of our ectotherm collection, you’ll oversee our breeding facility dedicated to the preservation of several rare species. Your role is pivotal in conveying our message about the power of wetlands and engaging the public through the wonders of our ectotherms and there wetland habitats.

This is a full time permanent position working 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays.
