- You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
- Valid NMC Pin
- Clear DBS
- Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
- Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning

The role of a Clinical Lead Nurse within the Nursing Home involves:
- Carrying responsibility for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Care Home Manager
- Taking a leadership role for your team by ensuring staff skills are managed, supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business.
- Promoting and maintaining a high standard of nursing care including the home environment.
- Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and provide ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
- Working within the NMC Code and CQC standards alongside internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice guidance.
- Planning, directing and delivering high-quality person-centred care through the care planning process, championing independence and person choice.
- Overseeing aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered.
- Monitoring the quality of nursing care provided through effective auditing and undertaking of corrective action as required by the Care Home Manager.
- Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, annual appraisal and team meetings.
- Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect practice and planned development.
- Deputising for the Care Home Manager
