Salary: £39,511-£42,073

Requirements for the Senior Nurse (RMN/RNLD) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN /RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS
  • Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and CQC regulations
  • Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.

The role of a Senior Nurse (RMN/RNLD) within the Mental Health Hospital involves:
  • Adhering at all times to the NMC code of professional conduct
  • Ensuring that you are up to date with relevant hospital policies.
  • Contributing to pre-admission assessment of referred patient
  • Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admission.
  • Working collaboratively with the individuals to develop their care plan
  • Monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within an evidence-based framework.
  • Managing medication as per hospital policy.
  • Acting as a role model for other staff, demonstrating good practice
  • Acting as a mentor for junior staff
