Summary
As a Junior Clinical Fellow in anaesthesia, the post-holder will take part in a 1:8 Junior Registrar on-call rota alongside other trainees. Majority of the post holders clinical time will be spent on a variety of surgical lists. The surgical specialties covered at Charing Cross hospital are Neurosurgery (including interventional neuro-radiology), Head and Neck (including robotic assisted surgery), General oncology, Urology (including robotic assisted surgery), ENT, Plastics, Colorectal (including HIPEC), Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology. The clinical duties would cover the Stage 2 curriculum of the Royal College of Anaesthesia (RCOA). There will also be opportunities to undertake activities that enhance their non-clinical skills such as education, research, and quality improvement and publication preparation.
