Veterinary Surgeon Hertfordshire
- Extremely rare opportunity at a RCVS-accredited independent hospital in Hertfordshire
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 4-day week rolling rota
- £2,000 CPD allowance and certificates encouraged
- Working alongside several certificate holders in surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology and Cert AVP
Due to expansion, we are recruiting for an extremely well established independent RCVS-accredited hospital that has been operating for over 120 years in the Hertfordshire area. They based centrally in a historic market town, close to all the local amenities, boasting lovely countryside while being only a short drive from Stansted Airport.
The hospital is made up of a highly skilled team that work together to achieve the highest possible standards in patient and client care and continually invest in the latest equipment and staff training.
There are several certificate holders within the practice including surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology and Cert AVP along with advanced practitioners in surgery and Medicine. They have a fantastic case load and clinical freedom is actively encouraged.
As you would expect with an RCVS accredited Hospital, it is extremely well-equipped with ASIF, mono/bipolar cautery, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitors with capnography, digital x-ray, rigid and flexible video-endoscopy, doppler ultrasound, 24 hour in-house laboratory, tonometry, operating microscope and slit lamp. They also have a fully equipped dental suite with a high-speed dental drill, dental x-ray and loupes. There is an onsite hydrotherapy and laser therapy.
If there is something you want or need and they do not have, all you need to do is ask!
The ideal candidate will have at least six months experience. If you are a confident and dynamic Veterinary Surgeon with a friendly manner, then you will be an ideal fit!
Role:
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 4-day week rolling rota
- 1 in three weekends Sat/Sun 09.00 -12.00
- 1 in 9 OOHs
- Allocated lunch breaks and admin time
