Summary
Want to earn more than the national minimum wage?
We have an opportunity for Food Production operative to work within a busy cheese factory.
This is a full-time role, but overtime is also available.
Your duties will be:
Using ceramic pots, you will be packing the cheese.
Loading and unloading the product (please note this role does involve heavy lifting)
Piercing holes in the cheese
Use a vacuum pack machine to pack the product.
Having work experience in a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
Please note due to the location of the factory, the successful candidate must have a valid UK driving license.
Other requirements are:
Comfortable with heavy lifting
Weekend availability
This is a temp to perm role.
Shifts start at 06:30 and finish at 15:00
The work is on a rota basis
Please make sure you have weekend availability as you will be required to work some weekends
The hourly rate of pay is £11.44 per hour.
You will work 39 hours per week.
Overtime rate is £16.01 (1.4x) per hour
