Summary
Trunking work available for Drivers with a minimum of 6 months HGV 1 driving experience within the UK.
Working on behalf of a reputable plumbing supply company based in Wakefield, you will be required to carry out trailer swaps between depots.
Due to the nature of the role, no manual handling is necessary, however it will be your responsibility to ensure that vehicle checks are carried out at the beginning and end of the shift and that the load has been secured sufficiently.
You will need to meet the below criteria to apply for this role.
To be successful, you must:
-Hold a valid Class 1 Drivers Licence.
-Have a Digi Tachograph Card.
-Hold a valid CPC Card.
-Have no more than 6 points on your driver’s licence.
-Have at least 6 months Class 1 Driving experience.
-Know how to drive safely, ensuring no damage to the vehicles or to the goods being transported.
This role offers full time, ongoing work
This role have shifts Monday to Sunday. You will start your shift between 20:00 and 22:00 Daily and will complete approximately 8 to 10 hours each shift.
. You will be paid £17.50 per hour PAYE, plus 28 Days Holiday per year or
£21.18 per hour if paid through our nominated FCSA Umbrella.
