Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the supportive and dedicated Forest School team at our primary special school for children experiencing difficulties with Communication and Interaction (within the Moderate Learning difficulty range) in September 2024 or as soon as possible. You will assist children in reaching their goals in a school that nurtures the progress of every individual.

We are seeking someone to join our strong staff team dedicated to supporting children whose needs can be challenging. We are looking for an applicant who is:

• A team player
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Flexible in their approach and positive in outlook
• Well organised and calm

As this role involves working outdoors in our Forest School, applicants will also need to:



• Embrace the Forest School ethos
• Participate enthusiastically in Forest School sessions
• Be willing to complete Level 2 Forest School training
