Responsibilities

  • Supporting classes across the school
  • Experience of working with children in an EYFS for Nursery setting and Primary setting.
  • To assist in promoting the learning and development of the pupils
  • enabling the children to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them
  • Supporting the class teacher with their teaching
  • Promote positive behaviour.
  • Supporting other staff with behaviour management.

Requirements
As a successful teaching assistant you will have;

  • Experience of working with children within an education setting.
  • Have a Level 3 or HLTA qualification
  • Experience in supporting a class in promoting positive behaviour.
  • Some knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • The ability to communicate and work as part of a team within the school.
