Summary

(Pipe) TIG Welder | Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Hull (opportunities for Sunderland and London) | 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday | Overtime and weekend work available | £26.50 per hour

The provide services for steam, gas, water, heating and chilled systems, and process applications.

While they maintain a relaxed atmosphere, they are committed to a fast-paced turnaround to meet their clients' needs.

They are seeking skilled (Pipe)TIG Welders to join their team on a long-term/permanent basis. If you are passionate about welding and the installation of stainless steel and mild steel pipework, our client wants to hear from you!

Are you the right person for the job?

• A valid CSCS card is required
• IPAF certification would be beneficial (training available for the right candidate)
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test on both materials to obtain ASMI coding under the Company Weld Procedure is preferred

What will your role look like?

• Perform TIG welding and installation of stainless steel and mild steel pipework in various settings such as the workshop, factories, schools, and hospitals
• Assembly and welding of prefabricated pipework
• Conduct bracketry installation on-site if required
• Work independently from drawings with minimal supervision

What can you expect in return?

• Initial employment on a self-employed basis (relevant UTR/CIS tax scheme required). Transition to permanent employment available on a trial basis
• 35p per mile for travel from the workshop (excluding workshop work)
• Accommodation for out-of-town work (£35 per night with provided accommodation, and 11-12 hour shifts available)
