Summary
An unusual and exciting opportunity for a full time nanny 5 days a week to include a Sunday in Sedlescombe, East Sussex. This wonderful and busy household are looking for a nanny to care for their four foster children aged 11, 7, 6 and 2.5 years old. The role will be a mixture of shared care and sole charge, so a team player with lots of energy is key. They live in a beautiful, large, recently renovated and tidy home with lots of outdoor space for the children to play as well as a swimming pool. The role will involve school runs, taking children to activities as well as entertaining the youngest with lots of creative play, fun in the garden and local groups/classes. It is a very busy household so a nanny with a muck in attitude is essential! Due to the children being fostered they would love to find someone that would be happy to undertake some foster care training, and indeed be interested in becoming an approved foster parent. The ideal nanny will be bubbly, proactive, and enjoy the outdoors. The family are keen on routine and promoting positive behaviour to help the children have consistency and boundaries. A car can be provided while on duty. The family are able to offer either live out – full time in which they can be very flexible in terms of hours with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week or live in 7am – 7pm – the accommodation provided will be a double bedroom with views over the garden and fields with an ensuite. All nursery duties and cooking for the children will be required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny that is passionate about working with children.
