Mental Health Youth Worker (Job Ref 24-19)

Salary - £25,019 per annum

Full-time - 37 hours per week

Based in Exeter and East Devon

At Young Devon we are committed to making a difference for children and young people. This is a new and exciting opportunity to bring your skills and knowledge to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people across a number of our projects. You will build excellent relationships with young people and support them to move forward from a range of issues including domestic abuse, being a victim of a crime or challenges with their mental health.

You will work with young people in a range of community settings and Young Devon buildings. You will help to reduce isolation and improve health and wellbeing through aspects of social prescribing, youth work, care co-ordination and low-level psychological intervention. Supporting individuals by engaging in fun and developmental activities, and where appropriate helping them to access a range of support services and interventions.
