Summary

Are you enthusiastic about History? Do you have a gift for bringing the past to life? Step Teachers are collaborating with a "Good" Ofsted-rated school in Norfolk that is looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their thriving History Department. This is a long-term supply role that begins in September 2024. This is an outstanding opportunity for a History Teacher who is dedicated to inspire pupils with the intriguing topic of History.

Key Responsibilities of a History Teacher:

  • Create a lively teaching environment that stimulates students' participation and interest in History.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning types within History.
  • Assess and track student progress in History, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in extracurricular History activities and field trips to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and comprehensive History education across the school.

Qualifications and Experience of a History Teacher:

  • A degree in History or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • A Teacher of History with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for History and a commitment to student success.
