Summary

Looking for a local, flexible part time role to fit around your other commitments or interests?  

 We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to work for 10 hours a week (working during the week). You will join our friendly team at Lymington Town Hall Maintaining a high level of cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us and we need an individual who is motivated to achieve this for our customers.  

Your main duties will be:  

Maintaining a high standard of cleaning throughout the Council buildings
Vacuuming, floor polishing, chemical clean of lavatories
Providing a safe working environment whilst dealing with chemicals, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Assessments
Ensuring all cleaning schedules are followed and checklists are completed
Consistently and actively applying good housekeeping principles, such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use, in order to contribute to our strategy to reduce utility consumption and carbon footprint
Performing manual scheduled and non scheduled cleaning work as required
Full training will be given.

Working patten: Weekdays 16:00 - 18:00 (2 hours per day).
