As a Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
• Liaising with clients to establish project requirements and financial aspects
• Regularly using Valesco to capture all costs and produce tender bill of quantities
• Involvement in the tender process, including obtaining quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparing competitive cost estimates for resources, equipment, and materials
• Assessing and analysing tender documents to understand project requirements
• Managing all subcontractors financially throughout the project
• Producing and finalizing the account at project completion
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has the following skills and experiences:
• At least 1 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Knowledge of the building/construction industry
• Experience of using Valesco or similar software (Training will be provided)
• Great with data, good analytical and mathematical skills
• A good level of IT literacy, including familiarity in using Microsoft 365
• Ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative
• A full UK driving license
