Are you an experienced and qualified SEN TA?
Do you have understanding of SEN Needs in Primary schools?
Do you know how to work alongside an EHCP?
We are looking for a committed, reliable and experienced SEN TA to support in a fantastic primary school based in Tower Hamlets. The role is full time and is based in a KS2 class supporting a pupil with ASD and some physical needs. Initially, this post will be for 4 weeks and will continue there onwards for the right candidate. The school will be hosting trials before then end of the academic year ends.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the schools EHCP.
- Support the pupil to the best of your ability.
- Communicate with parents to discuss any behavioural changes.
- Have a flexible approach with learning.
- Deliver 1:1 support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 3 Cache/NVQ
- Understanding Autism level 1
- Experience and knowledge of SEN pupils
- Reliability is key to build relations with the pupil you're working with.
