Summary

Do you have experience of working with young people aged 11 – 18 and are looking to develop your career?Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is excited to be appointing a Cover Supervisor to join our friendly and dynamic team. You will be required to manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task, and take on Lead Cover Supervisor responsibilities for part of the week.
If you are passionate about the young people in our community and want to be a part of ensuring their bright futures, then we would really like to hear from you.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an anticipated start date of September 2024. You will be working for 34 hours and 18 minutes per week during the term time only.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you will work as a Cover Supervisor for 6.5 hours per day. On a Thursday and Friday you will take on the Cover Supervisor Lead role, working 7 hours and 24 minutes per day.

Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is a Secondary school and located in Arnold, Nottinghamshire. We are an Ofsted-rated Good school.
We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
You will:

Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum enrichment activities.
Supervise the students, KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
Be caring and supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
Want to make a difference to our students and foster excellent relationships.
have a belief that every young person, whatever their starting point or circumstances, can achieve exceptional things.
Promote the well-being of our student’s providing guidance and support and be able to inspire learning and progress.
