Summary
Job Role & Duties:
- Lead the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, creating menus, managing inventory and maintaining food hygiene standards.
- Plan and oversee menus.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff and scheduling.
- Ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Order and manage inventory of ingredients.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff.
- Develop new recipes and culinary techniques.
- Monitor food costs and control waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management for smooth operations.
Skills, Experience/Qualification:
No formal qualifications required.
Candidates who apply must have minimum 4-5 years experience as a chef, ideally in hospitality.
