You will also be the Consultant Psychiatrist on Fern Ward, our new 12 bed male PICU accepting emergency and crisis admissions. Referrals come to us from all areas, including acute and prison services. Our aim is a short, rapid intervention to help individuals regain a sense of control and order in their lives, so they can move to a less restrictive care setting and ultimately return home. Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification An accomplished leader & clinician with strong line management & communication skills Experienced within a mental health setting and a multidisciplinary team Knowledgeable of all aspects of clinical governance Skilled in medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation & case management Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
