Summary
WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join one of the region’s most respected charities as a Community Engagement Executive.
This is a really exciting and varied role where you will have the opportunity to represent the charity within the community, the charity’s supporters while contributing to the wider fundraising team.
Engaging with supporters, schools, clubs and businesses across a wide area of the Midlands this is a wonderful role – working with communities ensuring the charity’s supporters are taken along an amazing supporter journey.
This is a home based role and there will be plenty of travel across the midlands.
Vehicle and fuel provided – Full clean drivers licence essential
Community Engagement Executive
Full Time
Fixed term contract of up to 2 years with extension by agreement
Home Based - Midlands
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum + expenses
Duties will include:
• Raising the profile of the charity and deepening relationships with a range of supporters across the area
• Work to increase the supporter base across the region and generate support through community fundraising activity
• Support the fundraising team at events and in other fundraising activity
• Forge links with communities, organisations, and small businesses in and around the local area
• Provide support for special community fundraising-related projects
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of / a passion to work in a charity setting
• Experience of working in a customer/supporter-facing role
• Ability to engage and hold the interest of supporters
• An engaging personality - Comfortable with public speaking in from of small groups
• Experience of building successful relationships
• Ability to motivate, inspire and lead supporters at various levels
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the area
