Summary

Do you want to join us in transforming mental health services? We have a unique opportunity for an Information Gatherer to join Northpoint. This role will involve working at our Calderdale First Point of Contact (FPoC) service in Halifax. You will play a crucial role in our mission to provide vital support to children, young people, and families dealing with mental health challenges. What you will be doing as an Information Gatherer As an Information Gatherer, your primary responsibility will be to offer a telephone-based information gathering service that supports clinical decision-making for mental health presentations. You will be a crucial link in identifying risks and vulnerabilities for children, young people, and their families. Additionally, you'll provide valuable advice and information to help professionals and families access the right support at the right time. What we're looking for in our ideal information gatherer A minimum of one years’ experience of working with children and young people with emotional/behavioural issues Excellent interpersonal skills Experience of gathering information over the telephone Resilience to deal with calls from young people, parents/carers and professionals which may involve emotional or distressing content Ability to accurately record contacts, demonstrating an expertise in concise record keeping The skills to be able to identify risk, vulnerability, and safeguarding concerns effectively and action If you possess the skills, knowledge, and experience we are seeking and are passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health, please click 'Apply' to be considered for the Information Gatherer role.
