Summary
SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for a Mill Labourer to work for our client based in Bradford
About the Role
This position is to work in the mill and you will start off initially as a Labourer to then be trained up for other roles in the business.
• Working in the mill
• Backing off the machine
• Stacking orders
• Labelling orders
• Quality checks off a machine
• Operating spray guns – in the Spray Booth if necessary.
• General housekeeping
• TO be trained on the saws
We want a candidate who shows potential to:
• Operate X-Cut.
• Operate Re-saw
• Operate SLE (Straight line edger)
• To progress to a molder operator
Preferred Experience
• Experience is preferable but not essential – any experience working in a mill, or a timber yard is highly beneficial.
• If you have any experience as molder operator or a machinist, our would be interested in this candidate.
Hours are:
• Monday – Thursday 7am-3.30pm – Overtime is paid at time and a quarter during the week ONLY if they have worked 39 hours and only when required.
• Fridays 7am – 3.20pm – No overtime.
• 10min break in morning and afternoon, 40min Lunch break.
Pay Rate £11.44 PAYE in addition you will accrue holiday pay
Overtime is available and paid at time and a quarter Monday to Friday after 39 hours and time and a half Saturdays
