Summary
The Ecole Française offers classes and activities for children aged 18 months to 16 years, in our dedicated school premises in North Bristol.
We work in partnership with parents to support children learning the French language and enjoy cultural experiences in school, whether our pupils are bilingual or learning French as a foreign language.
We are recruiting a teaching assistant to join our great team from September 2024.
To work one day per week.Tuesday 7.45 am to 5.45pm (30-minute lunch break)
Term-time + 1 week (39 weeks) + ad hoc training time Fixed-term contract for one year. 5.6 weeks paid leave, 10% staff discount on our classes.
Rate of pay £12.20 per hour (unqualified), to £13.44 per hour (Early Years Educator with Maths/English qualifications, able to count in ratios - We can offer Paediatric First Aid training).Out-of-hours training paid extra All appointees are offered training, to include external paediatric first aid training (2 days) unless the appointee has a current certificate, (online and in-house) safeguarding training, in-house Health and Safety training and training on our policies and procedures.
