Summary

My client is a Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor.

They are currently recruiting for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join their Delivery Team for the Welsh Water Network Alliance Contract and assume responsibility for the delivery of several schemes.

The role will be based in Swansea with the potential for agile working (3 days of home working) and will cover the whole of the Welsh Water Network.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to take the lead on delivery of a big range of schemes and developing the existing team, to ensure out performance against the current programme and transition into the new client investment period, AMP 8.

The company are the provider of essential infrastructure services through long-term framework agreements to the water (Clean and Waste) sector across the UK & Ireland.

Due to continued growth, the positions have become available to join their team in Swansea.

These roles will be a valuable part of the business, the focus will be to provide leadership, direction, and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of the schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully support the team working in the delivery of the project.

You will need to have gained experience delivering civil projects from pre-construction to commissioning. Lead multi contractor and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver common goals. You will need to have a full understanding of planning, liaison with 3rd parties and pre-construction permits.

You must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their needs.

You will be responsible for reviewing works arising and contribute to program discussions and improvements. Ensure all projects are assigned on time, within budget and with margin improvements where possible through resource and procurement efficiencies. Collate/update reports and issue in a timely manner.

You will need to maintain internal systems with accurate data. Have a complete understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. Be responsible for supporting the Project Managers. Take ownership of the project documentation management and produce audit-compliant documentation.

Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.

Have you gained a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent?
