Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas.
This was recognised in our recent ungraded Ofsted Inspection which stated "This is a school at the heart of its community", and "This is a calm and orderly school".
Following this inspection we remain an Outstanding School, and the report rightly celebrated our many strengths.

We are seeking to appoint a PLC Coordinator to join our existing inclusion team working as part of a wider support team. Within our bespoke provision you will coordinate and/or deliver the facilitation of 1:1 or small group provisions that may be dictated by Education Health Care Plans, advisory reports from external stakeholders and or SENDCo directives.

Working as part of the Inclusion team, you will promote the learning and welfare of vulnerable students with a view to achieving full integration back into mainstream school, following a measurable provision delivered by yourself. This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right candidate. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Inclusion team to manage the room and provide appropriate and personalised timetables for individual students and groups.

We are sure you already have the aspiration to 'transform lives' and this role will allow you to explore the possibilities of delivering alternative courses to cohorts of students to provide them with relevant qualifications. We believe that all teaching and support staff posts within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious professionals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
If you require further information or would like a tour of the Academy please contact
