Summary

We are seeking a Wellbeing Worker to work with visually impaired and hearing impaired adults in our Northumberland Service.

You will have experience of working with people who have a sensory loss, be able to undertake needs led assessments, be confident in speaking to members of the public as well as professionals, can manage a comprehensive case load and be able to record your work accurately.

This is a hybrid contract, but you will be needed to travel to Morpeth on occasions such as Team Meetings or other service needs.

Main accountabilities of the role are:

Input and process referrals accurately and efficiently.
Meet and support service users by undertaking comprehensive assessments to identify their needs.
Manage own case load and undertaking case recording.
Provide professional/appropriate advice and assistance to the service users and when required signpost them to other services
To be successful you will need to have:

Experience in working with people with a sensory impairment.
Experience in delivering Information, Advice and Guidance and providing equipment for sensory needs.
Excellent team working skills.
