Summary
Dynamic and dedicated experienced teacher required for KS2 in a welcoming primary school in Burnley. This is a class teacher role based in Year 5 and is to start in September.
An experienced primary teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge is required for this role. You will need effective behaviour management skills and to be confident with the planning and assessment for Year 5. Ideally you will have worked in upper Key Stage 2 before.
The school has a forward-thinking attitude and a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff team are upbeat and really work hard to give the children a wonderful experience of school and learning. The Year 5 class teacher role will be working within a team of 4 teachers across the upper Key Stage 2 year groups.
The Year 5 class teacher is required from the start of autumn term until the end of summer term in July 2025.
Essential requirements for this Year 5 primary teacher role:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
- Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
- Professional references covering the last two full years
- Experience working in a UK Primary School
