Mental Health Recovery Coordinator - Temporary Contract (End of March 2025)

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm however flexibility around working pattern can be discussed.

About the role
As a Mental Health Recovery Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.

Key duties will include:
Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression.
Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources.
To work closely and collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team across the service and externally, providing advice and reports/ information to managers and other colleagues, through attendance at reviews, team meetings, supervision and via telephone conversations.
Develop and deliver quality programs and packages of work/ psychosocial interventions.
To act as a link between community and mental health teams and the treatment service.

About you
Experience working in a similar role and/or setting, would be ideal.
An understanding of substance misuse would be beneficial for this post.
A NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
