Summary

Job Description

  • Full time – 40 hour per week
  • Salary up to £32k dependent on experience

We are looking for a personable individual to join our Events Team. The role involves planning and overseeing the delivery of Events and Townhall Meetings across different Townhall event spaces.

This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and plays an essential role in ensuring the successful execution of these events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
  • Creating accurate and detailed function sheets for each event.
  • Client communication from initial enquiry to final arrangements and post-event feedback.
  • Greet clients on arrival making sure that the event is as they require, and ensuring that any of the day changes are passed on where necessary, to the operational team.
  • Handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
  • Collaboration with wider teams involved in the event across the business.
  • Effectively communicate any last-minute changes, opportunities or issues that are relevant.

Qualifications

  • A passion for events & hospitality
  • An ambitious individual keen to grow and develop
  • Relevant experience in an event role would be beneficial
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Meticulous administration, coordination and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
  • Proactive and excellent time management
  • Ability to think creatively
  • English language - Fluent or bilingual proficiency
