Summary
Part Time Variable Hour Tutor of BA ActingHours: part time variable – 9 hours per week (all day Monday, Thursday a.m.)
Hourly rate: up to £27.82 per hour*
*includes payment for holiday and preparation and marking time.
About the roleThe role includes teaching on the second year of our BA Acting for Stage and Screen degree course. This includes Fundamental Acting Technique for stage and camera. The course includes projects such as improvisation for camera based on the practice of Mike Leigh, a location shoot of a period drama in collaboration with Screen Yorkshire and our own Film Production Degree, Graduating Student Professional Showreel projects, student applied dissertation modules and potentially a radio drama module.
About the PersonYou should be experienced in teaching acting. A professionally trained actor with experience teaching at Higher Education Level would be desirable.
