Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site surveys, setting out and leveling construction sites.
  • Monitor and report on progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Manage and supervise site personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Implement and adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, quality assurance documents, and health and safety logs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD and GPS technology.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
